who we are

Launched in September 2022, we are a collective of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning experts. 

We believe it's important to speak and write earnestly, in simple and plain terms. And that this fosters opportunities to reflect about where changes are needed. We also believe that MEL is about more than measurement; it is about ambition - about thinking deeply about what good change looks like, and mapping a sensible, down-to-earth way forward that implementers and project managers actually want to use on a daily basis.

We have a depth of experience in MEL that allows us to speak plainly to senior donors and civil society figures. Together we have worked in all the major humanitarian theatres and for all the major donors. The founder is Richard Harrison, a former FCDO MEL adviser with 25 years of MEL experience.
